Terms of Service

Quads is a poker-learning app from Graham Zemel LLC. By using it you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
Who Can Use Quads
You must be 18 or older. Quads is a learning tool. It is not gambling, and nothing in it is worth real money: no deposits, no cash-outs, no prizes. Chips in the game are for practice only and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money.
Your Account
Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account. We may suspend an account that is used to attack the service or other players.
Free, and What Stays Free
Every lesson, every rank and every table is free, and whatever is free today stays free. Nobody can pay to rank higher. Paid extras only add depth on top of the free game.
Quads Plus Subscription
Quads Plus is an optional membership. Every lesson, rank and table stays free without it, and nobody can pay to rank higher.
- Plans. Monthly, at $4.99 a month; yearly, at $39.99 a year; and Founding, at $99 once, sold only for the first 90 days after Quads Plus launches, until 13 January 2027.
- Price and currency. The price, its currency (US dollars, USD) and how often you will be charged are shown before you pay. Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it.
- Renewal. Monthly and yearly memberships renew automatically at the end of each month or year and are charged to the same payment method, until you cancel. On the App Store, your Apple Account is charged when you confirm the purchase, and the plan renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Price changes. On the web, a new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it does. On the App Store, Apple sends the notice and asks for your agreement where it requires it.
- Cancelling. On the web, cancel any time in the app, under More › Quads Plus › Manage or cancel. On the App Store, cancel in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions; deleting the app does not cancel it. Either way, your membership stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then stops; it does not renew. Every Quads Plus look released in a month you were a member stays yours after the membership ends, on every device. The other Quads Plus looks, including those released before you joined, and the Quads Plus avatar are for members only, and return if you join again.
- Founding. Founding is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it is never renewed or charged again. If Quads ever shuts down, we will give Founding members notice and treat them fairly.
- Refunds. Satisfaction Guaranteed: don’t love it? Within 30 days of any payment, renewals included, we give a full refund, no questions. For a web purchase, email support@getquads.com and we will refund it. For an App Store purchase, Apple, not us, handles refunds: ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
- Who bills you. On the web, Quads Plus is sold by Graham Zemel LLC and billed through Stripe, via RevenueCat. In the iOS app, Apple sells it and bills your Apple Account.
Display Names
Other players see your first name, up to 20 characters. Do not use a name that is hateful, sexual or threatening, that pretends to be someone else, or that shows personal details. We may hide, change or remove a name that breaks this, and suspend an account that keeps doing it. Any player can report a name.
What You May Do
Use Quads for yourself. Please do not scrape it, reverse engineer it, use bots against other players, or try to break it. Quads, its wordmark, lessons and art belong to Graham Zemel LLC. You keep what is yours, such as your name and your answers.
The IOS App
In the iOS app, Apple’s standard licence agreement (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement) applies alongside these terms.
No Guarantees
We work hard on accuracy, but poker advice is general, and Quads does not promise you will win at any game, anywhere. The service is provided “as is”, and we may change or end features. To the extent the law allows, Graham Zemel LLC is not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. None of this limits rights you cannot lose by law.
Ending Things
You can stop any time and delete your account. We may end or change the service. If we do, we will give notice in the app first when we can.
